Currently, I lead the web and marketing operations teams at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative & Biohub.
Featured Work
Company: Chan Zuckerberg Initiative & Biohub
Situation: In 2021, the Biohub marketing team planned a brand refresh and full rebuild of the Biohub website, initially allotted a 6-month timeline. The site was woefully out of date and in dire need of an upgrade.
Meanwhile, author Michael Lewis had written a new book about the Biohub’s rapid response to the COVID-19 outbreak called, The Premonition.
When the publication date of the book changed to 6 months ahead of its intitial schedule, (along with a 60-minutes interview) the website refresh project timeline condensed to just 7 weeks to match the book’s publication timeline.
What I Did: I built the project structure from scratch, onboarded a new development team, coordinated design and development across four companies and two legal teams, and managed hosting, security, and compliance in parallel, all in a matter of weeks.
Impact: The site launched on time, GDPR compliant and security-hardened, with a new look and CMS that Biohub staff could actually use, right before a 10x surge in site traffic after the book publication and 60-minutes segment.

Situation: The CZI EdTech team built and launched a digital product called Along, a tool for teachers to use in K-12 classrooms. The product’s corresponding website, along.org needed to go from a bare-bones launch waitlist page to a full marketing website with a CMS, analytics, and a new design on a compressed timeline tied to ISTE, one of education technology's biggest annual events.
What I Did: Managed two consecutive website builds with multiple dev agencies, handling CMS setup, hosting, contractor onboarding, cookie compliance, and analytics infrastructure across both.
Impact: The site launched on time, fully compliant, and with complex analytics and marketing automation integrated to give deep visibility into teacher product adoption.

About
I've spent 10+ years running web and marketing teams at tech companies, mostly in the growth phase where the stakes are high and the timelines are tight. I like building teams as much as I like building systems and infrastructure.
Outside of work, I love live music, science fiction books, and spending as much time as possible outside.
I live in Berkeley, California.
